1. Agreement to Terms
Before using the LunaGlow app or any related website or service (together, the "Services"), please read this Terms of Use Agreement carefully. "LunaGlow," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the makers of LunaGlow.
2. Binding Effect
This Agreement is a legally binding contract between you and LunaGlow. By accessing the Services you accept these Terms of Use. We may amend these Terms at our discretion; updated terms will be made available in the app, and continued use after a change means you accept it. If you materially breach these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services.
3. Privacy
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information, including photos and AI-generated skincare data.
4. Not Medical Advice
LunaGlow provides AI-generated skincare information, product scoring, and general glow-tracking features for informational and entertainment purposes only. Nothing in the Services constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and LunaGlow is not a substitute for professional dermatological or medical care. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider about any skin condition, allergy, or reaction before changing your skincare routine.
5. Age of Users
Users between the ages of 13 and 18 need parental or legal guardian consent to use the Services. The Services are not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect information from, children under 13. Parents may contact us to review or delete a minor's data.
6. Description of the Services
LunaGlow is a mobile app that helps you track your skin, scan skincare products, chat with an AI assistant ("Ask Luna") for personalized recommendations, and optionally subscribe to premium features through in-app purchase.
7. Your Obligations
By using the Services, you agree to: use them only through authorized means and in compliance with applicable law; refrain from harassing, threatening, or abusing other users or LunaGlow staff; avoid transmitting viruses or malicious code; avoid attempting to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Services; and not use LunaGlow's name, logo, or trademarks without authorization. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these obligations or applicable law.
8. Subscriptions and Payments
Premium features are offered through auto-renewing subscriptions billed via the App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's account settings. All charges are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies — LunaGlow does not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds itself.
9. Prohibited Uses
You may not: access the Services through unauthorized means; use the Services for unlawful purposes; modify, decompile, or interfere with the Services; or use automated tools to scrape or abuse the Services. Violating these prohibitions may result in termination of your account and, where appropriate, legal action.
10. User Content and License
Any content you submit through the Services (such as chat messages, photos, or feedback) remains subject to applicable law and must not infringe third-party rights. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use. We may limit, suspend, or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the Services.
11. Account Deletion
You may permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from Profile > Settings in the app, or by contacting us directly.
12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LunaGlow is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, including reliance on AI-generated skincare recommendations.
